In June 2013, a major fiber connectivity project was completed, allowing 145 Anoka County governmental entities to be connected to each other via high-speed broadband services. How does this project impact the economic development of this area? How and when will the business community be able to access this fiber? Who are the stakeholders involved?
Hear an update on these questions and more on Thurs, March 27, 8 am, Rasmussen College-Blaine Campus at the MetroNorth Government Affairs meeting. Susan Vreeland, Director of Information Technology from Anoka County, representatives from Zayo, and others will be there to describe the contract, construction, and impact of the new system, and its future potential.
